I have a 2002 explorer xlt 4x4 recently the service engine soon light came on and each time i drive the truck once i break 40mph the o/d off light flashes. The code that come up is p0775, a problem with the solenoid block. Many of the posts on here state that they have replace the solenoid block and continue to have similar problems. I have also read that it may be the servo pins, weather you bore and sleeve them or buy aftermarket pins. Some say this works others still have the problem. Others say that all they did was changed the tranny fluid and filter and that worked. Some say that the bands need adjustment. Others have had the tranny rebuilt and continue to have the same problems. There is no problem with shifting besides a longer then normal rev coming from 1st to 2nd gear. I would just like to fix this before it becomes worse. If there anybody who could tell me what needs to be replaced. I have the tools and knowledge to change any of these as well as the entire tranny, I do not have any tools to properly diagnose the drive-train, only the pcu scanner.
