2002 Explorer Sport Trac 4x4 will not start

Hello,

I have a 2002 Explorer Sport Trac, 4x4, 4.0 and it will not start. I have located the started and even tapping it it will not start.

Does anyone have any tips on this other than to replace the starter?

you getting any power at all to the electronics? is it cranking but wont turn over?

Ford Explorer Sport Trac will not start

Soory it took me so long to reply. We have found that the problems is with the keys and the security system. Somehow the computer has reset and will not read the chip in the key, there for it will not start the truck. We have to tow the truck to the dealership and have them reprogram the keys and the trucks computer. Suck!
