2002 Explorer will not start.

Hey just wondering what could of happend.. truck ran great last night woke up and i cant start it..its turning over fine but it just wulnt fire.. im thinking a gas problem or spark but i can be wrong in theses computer cars.. anyone have a easy when of checking this problem out ?please let me know cause im kinda broke and would love to fix on my own in these tuff times.. thanks

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 2002-2005 section. Check the inertia switch, and the fuses. Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key? Is there a flashing theft light? Do you have another key?

When the fuel pump went in my friends 2nd gen, it was one and done overnight like you describe. Try some troubleshooting like Brooklyn suggested though before jumping to conclusions. Could be another issue on the newer vehicles before looking for spark/fuel/air delivery problems.

Is it a 4.0 or 4.6? The ignition systems are a little different, the 4.6 is coil-on-plug with no plug wires whereas the 4.0 is the old style.
