You will want to concern yourself with a few different things. First, how deep is the 6x9? If it is more than 3" deep, you will not be able to use them. The window track is directly behind the speaker magnet.
The second thing you will need to worry about, is the perforations in the factory speaker grill. They are perforated for a 4"x6" opening. That means that nearly half of your speaker will be shrouded. Kinda like breathing through a drinking straw. You would do well to drill out the holes that LOOK like they are perforated all the way through, but are not.
And, last, you have to be able to get the door card back in place. I have precious little clearance for a 6 1/2" speaker. I really doubt that you will get it to work. Also, you will have to cut the door steel to make it fit. The factory opening is 6"x8", not 6x9. And, finally, the door steel flexes so much, that you will need to brace it. The more midbass you drive into the door, the more it will need braced. Here's a pic...
