2002 x sport exhaust problems!!

Well I just got back from my local muffler shop and I got some bad ass news. Seems that ford has scewed us all over again by makin a gay ass design for the 2002 x sport. At the end of the car where the exhaust pipe exits, it does a little snake dance around the leaf springs, well this just kind of screws up all my ideas. Number one ford has put the brake lines in a spot that makes it almost impossible to successfuly have dual exhaust without horrible long term effects like my brake lines explodin. Thought about routin it out the side of the X near the back, well no go there thanx to the wonderfull angle that it exits at, granted that the pipes can be bent, but it will still a nasty angle for the exitin tip. Which all adds up to UGLY. Since I hate the look of any car with a single chrome tip comin out the back i thought that I mine as just cut the pipe before it exits so you can't see it and its nice and clean. Any thoughts or suggestions for me? Anyone go through this problem yet?

Well...

Whats wrong with only one tip??? I just got cat-back in the stock location and a nice oval tip, custom mandrel bent with a Magnaflow. It sounds great and it looks fine with only one tip. I went from the 2.25" to 2.5"

Thats why I had to have duals on my Mustang - too bad it was a POS and I was glad to get rid of it.

lol, were in the same boat, owned a 99 convertable Gt with dual flowmasters and 3 and 3/4 inch chrome tips, loved the sound and speed, hated the fact that the top leaked and since it was used, ford wouldn't help me so i said forget it, wen't and got a 2002 X sport and put one hell of a system in it. Now workin on the exhuast part but as you read, runnin into some problems
