Is anyone else concerned that another keyfob could actually jar the gate while the vehicle is in motion & cause harm (to the wallet at least). I just programmed all 4 and two additional keys. If anyone needs help, because their truck may be extra touchy w/ the electrical, I'd be glad to lend a hand.
I also know now if I was to have an extra set/fob in the car and someone hit that, it would make no difference & open the gate regardless.
It strangely has started a rather unpredictable side door lock, (hitting the button up to 3-4 times after it has unlocked the drivers.)
It also will not remove itself from an accidental panic button hit until you type in the door code, and put any key in the ignition and turn to start, fall back to run as usual and will then stop.
This truck has only had the same two remotes and keys for 5 years and nothing after market....(as I said it is rather sensitive with the electrical issues) but Thank God that's my only issue & usually get a grasp on them easily, (not mechanically but more electrically inclined) or I usually end up "roughing it."
I plan on this 02 till the wheels fall off!!
