2002 XLT no hi/low beam on headlights

hi

Last night i found my headlights had completely stopped working. When I turned on the dash it illuminates and my park lights come on.
I have no low beams and no hi beams. The little blue symbol for hi beams doesnt even come up on the dash.
i have checked the bulbs and all seem to be fine. I have checked the fuses and interchanged with same amperage fuses but still no luck.

Has anyone had any issues or could offer any advice on where I should look to fix the problem?

I can post the troubleshooting info from my shop manual tomorrow night after work.

I don't know how accurate it will be since it's for the Left Hand Drive North American Models?
