So I bought a 5r55e for my explorer because my current transmission is going out and I am wondering what maintenance and modifications I should do to the transmission I bought it has 100,000 miles on it and was thinking while it's out of a vehicle I should install a shift kit and other things but don't know which shift kits I should get or if even necessary.
