In June, I had the misfortune of dozing off while driving my 2003 Mountaineer, and I smashed into a light pole with right front corner of my truck. I crunched the the whole right front corner: hood, fender, and sub-body. I bent the lower control arm, wasted the wheel/tire, and it broke the support for the front axle. I was so mad that I didn't have collision coverage, but I was dumb in thinking, "I've never caused an accident..." I ultimately decided to repair the truck, since KBB value was $5000+ (undamaged), but the junkyards only wanted to give me $350 as scrap. The repairs are still in progress, but here are some pics showing the progress on Dropbox. I'll update it as I go:
