2003 eddie , message center

i did do a search for the message center to no avail , but i know there was a write up somewhere here about the message center being dim and how to fix it , something to do with the solder on the resistors, any help would be nice thx

Are you talking about the message ctr in the insturment cluster or the display in the radio? I ask because there's was a problem with radio displays & you had to resoder some componets on the power supply board in the radio. But like you also said, the message ctr in the insturment cluster is dim, at least on my '02 EB it is, unless you had the headlights on.

the message center in the cluster that displays milage ,gas consumption , oil change warning etc its not bright just dim hard to read during the day
