I have a 2003 Ford Explorer. When I'm in All-Wheel-Drive, occasionally I will feel a 'skipping' sensation as I drive between 35 - 45- mph. It feels as if one or two of the wheels aren't engaged with the drive train. The 'skipping' stops when I push the 4WD High button. I've switched from AWD to High several times to make sure that this symptom stopped when hitting the High button." I also have problems with my cruise control, which seems to work only occasionally. Could the two problems be related?
Thanks,
Mike
