2003 Explorer Rear air/vent problem

Hi, I am new to this forum and would like help with a problem.

My 2003 Explorer has a continuously clicking sound coming from the rear inside panel on the driver's side. The rear air/heat vent sometimes works and sometimes not.

Is this a problem with something called the 'blend door actuator' and is it something I can fix or should I get a mechanic?

Any advice would be very helpful.

Thanks for the info.

I'm not yet sure I will try this myself --- there seems to be a lot of things to take apart just to get to the blend door actuators.
