2003 explorer sport cargo light build replace

how can i replace the bulbs do i need to unscrew the hold piece ......

Typically you just need to pop the clear plastic lens off to access/replace the bulbs. Note the clips (don't know what else to call them) along the edge of the lens. Using a small flat blade screwdriver I'd start with the clip between the two switches. Carefully insert the blade under the clip and pry the lens loose. The lens should then fall right off. Snap the lens back into place when done.
