2003 Exterior Molding or cladding

I have a Silver 03 Explorer XLT with the black molding or cladding (not sure the exact name for it) and I want to know where I can find replacement parts because I don't like the black or can it be painted? I searched the internet w/ no luck so any help would be appreciated, thanks.

cladding is an acceptable term.

The black ones can be painted. If they are the black textured it will require a little more prep and you will loose much of the texture apperiance. Replacement will cost you, but can be obtained from a dealership or the Ford perts network who is a site sponcer.
