2003 Jerking when wet

Hello all!
I have a 2003 Eddie, 4.6. I have read a few threads on doing the brown wire mod. It is appealing yet I am still unsure if I want to do it. As fun as a bit of sideways action is I'm not wanting to destroy a good thing. 120k and clean af. I'm the 3rd owner. Kinda want to make it last. But I really am over the Jenkins of the what I guess is the clutches in the transfer case when losing traction. I mean if its wet out and I leave a light even a little heavy on the pedal it happens.
Is there any way to make my Eddie 2 wheel without having to ruin anything? Any help is appreciated.

Which transfer case do you have? The BWM is for the 4405. The BWM isn't for roasting tires a block, as the difference in speed is causing shearing of the fluid and can eventually kill the t/case if it's done for extended periods of time.
