2003 sport dash question

Do the fog light button and the rear defrost button light up with the dash lights on a 2003 explorer 2 door sport?
I get a led coming on when they are in use, fogs on or defrost on; just wondering if they illuminate with the other dash items.
Does the headlight switch illuminate as well?

yes they do. the common one to burn out is the headlight switch. all the switches on your radio bezel surround, door switches, and cruise control switches should light up when the head lights are on

Are they replaceable or do you need to un-solder bulbs?
Would anyone know the replacement numbers.

you can buy them, but from where i do not know. the are a bulb and socket type set up, so there is no soldering. however, if you do know how to solder, there are lots of people (myself included) that have replaced the bulbs with LED lights.
