Is there any way to run a wire through the firewall without drilling a hole? I've looked for the solutions in older Explorere, but it looks like Ford changed something in 2003.
Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread to the 2002-2005 section. Look for a rubber grommet or a space next to a bulkhead connector. You might have to drill a hole, and add a rubber grommet if there is nothing to go through. What are you planning on wiring up?

Near the break pedals is big piece of rubber you can make a little hole a pass your wire, i pass a 4AWG wire for that rubber, you don't even need a groomed cause is rubber.
Follow the hood release cable. Drill through the rubber gromet. Push a straightened coat hanger through and tape the wires to it and pull them back into the interior.
