Fellas, i'm needing to buy new headlamp bulbs but am seeing that there are "low beam" and "high beam" replacements. Does this mean there are TWO bulbs in there that would need changed?

Which bulb(s) is not working, low beam or high beam?

No need to change all four bulbs, just the pair that is not working. Always change the pair, even if only one of the pair has failed.

Ok, so there is TWO per side then.....that's what I was looking for! :)

Although I prefer the Explorer setup, my Mountaineer has only one bulb per side...both hi and low in one. I mean.

A good opportunity to do the HIR upgrade.

9006 --> 9012
9005 --> 9011

Now if you attempt to buy 9012/9011 bulbs at AutoZone, OReilly, etc, you will find them to be jacked up to $25 each.

9012 $15.27 each More Information for PHILIPS 9012LL

9011 $8.13 each More Information for WAGNER 9011

Why do the upgrade?

Just check out the increase in lumens...
