Wanted 2004 4.6 fuel filter location

OK,
I did go to school but I have been end to end under my 4.6 V8 04 Explorer and still cn't find the fuel filter. Help please

the filter should be located directly in front of the fuel tank. you may not be seeing it because there is a shield in front of it.

There's a sticky about this and another thread in progress aobut this LOL.

I think I remember there being two covers over the fuel filter since it's so close to the passenger side exhaust. Location is in front of the gas tank, roughly below the front passenger seat.
