2004 explorer transfer case

I originally posted this in the new member section. Sorry I am a rookie lol!!!

My truck started to hesitate when I would let off the gas. It felt like going over a series of speed bumps until I got back in the throttle. It only happened after my truck got up to temp. I had the transfer case oil changed and its almost completely gone. It still does it but not all the time and when it does its not nearly as noticeable. Does anyone have an answer for this?????

thats bad. . .might have heated up and stretched the chain. . .which xfr case does it have? That would/may also make a loud scraping sound. . .or rattle.

Can you describe the speed bump. . ..

I dont hear anything.....It just studders....very even.....kind of like tapping the breaks lightly over and over. Like is said its very faint after i changed the oil in the transfer case.
