hello everyone , i'm new to the site and so far I have found lots of useful information ! My question is about what size tire I can use safely on my rig with it having AWD , I have seen people say 265/75/16 but they were 4WD rigs . I need new tires and want to go a little bigger with out having any issues with my AWD , my rig is all stock 16" rims , v6 engine , any input would be awsome !

Thanks , Chris

Main thing is that you get tires that are all equally sized, including the spare. A 265/75/16 will fit in the spare area.

do you think that size will work with it being AWD ?

As long as all 4 tires are the same size then you should be fine. If one or more tires is different than the rest in size, then you're going to have problems. that's why you should have a matching spare.

You also need to be able to clear the size tires you are running. 265/75/16 is generally accepted as the max size that can be run without lifting.

to be safe maybe i should run 245/75/16's?

i mean i would def like the bigger tire but dont want any rubbing ya kno lol?
