2004 ford explorer won't start

Hello,I am having trouble starting my 2004 explorer.I have put a new battery,ignition relay in.Nothing not even a click.cheched every fuse and fusable links.everything else works it just won't turn over with the key.It will turn over with a screwdriver on the starter but will not run.I have had no other problems with this suv.Except the abs light came on about two weeks ago.Can anyone please help before I tow to dealership ?

How does it turn over with a screwdriver? The engine starts but the vehicle won't move?
Mine was the negative battery cable.... is has to be so tight it won't move at all; otherwise it won't start...

I agree that it could need the key formated. It would not be the battery cables because you are able to jump the starter.
 






Same boat man.

im having the same problem, i have heard that sometimes one of the keys get erased from the trucks memory so if you have another one try it, it has worked for some people, othere than that mine is still sitting to, cant figure it out.
 






Yeah sounds like a security thing if it's not even clicking, key programming or such.
 






How about failed ignition switch?

Does fuel pump come on with switch?
