Hello there, i have read the forums about this issue with the blend door, and im not sure if its an issue with the 2004 models or not. i have the standard manual controls.
This morning,i noticed that if i put the dial all the way to HOT, it makes a clicking noise under the dash, i can move it a bit colder, and it stops. Still blows hot and cold air, but just makes a noise when you have it all the way over to hot.. this leads me to believe that the motor or vacume (i dont know which it has) is working.
since i get hot and cold air, i believe that the door is also moving somewhat..
can anyone tell me what they believe the issue is..
also, this truck is under warranty, is this covered by the used car extended warranty?
any advise would be great.
