She's having trouble making up her mind. Any input to help her decide one way or the other?

I tried that on the other thread. I say Mach 1! :bounce"

hmmm... tough decision... i love the mach 1s, but the stis has that cool air rushing sound when the turbo kicks.... and you can put heavy duty suspension and mud tires and still mash it... pikes peak anyone? or mud bog?!

I say Mach 1 if the insurance rate isn't a problem. If it is, you might want want to look elsewhere. I'm not sure if a Lexus is out of your budget or not but I & Stephen are definately two people who would love to see another one. You could always go Audi too.

the sti is an amazing car but you just cant beat the roar of an all american V8!!! :D
i will heartily agree, but you cant beat 300 hp out of a 4 banger, not to mention the traction/handling of AWD. and also YOU control how much power the rear diffy gets. imagine was a computer chip would do for that thing

Insurance for the Mach 1 and WRX STI are within 50 dollars a year. The WRX is the more expensive.

A Mustang Mach 1 or some import... hmmm.. :p

Well since they're within $50 of each other for insurance, I go with the Mach 1.. Got to go w/ Ford.

two words:
Shaker Scoop!!! :d

I say STi, but the Mach 1 comes with a stereo, power seat, and floormats, has more HP and torque, and gets better gas mileage. I'd replace the stereo anyway and can deal with not having a power seat... Plus the turbo & AWD combo (IMO) would be a lot more fun... And I live in areas that get a lot of snow so I'd prefer AWD.

They not even in the same league. I say Sti its a better ladies car than the Mach 1. Now if you wanted to get the Cobra or the Sti I would say Cobra.

I'd say the WRX, your not going to see as many on the road, it has a better build quality then the mustang, and the resale value is going to be alot better. And it is a hell of a car.

True... The Impreza is right up there with the Civic in terms of reliability, and in some cases even beats the Civic. Also, you can't beat Subaru's safety ratings. Subaru is like Japan's Volvo! :D

wrx sti

i just read a head to head comparo of the sti and the cobra..... the sti did better...... it was in hot rod mag a few months ago...... i voted mach 1 for the coolness factor, but unless its performance is better than the cobra, get the sti

STANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DOWN WITH IMPORT'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you'd have the best of both worlds
