Rockport Off-Road Park will host three Extreme Rock crawling events in 2004. The dates are March 27th and 28th, June 26th and 27th and Sept. 25th and 26th. Class One will be stock, class Two will be modified stock . There is a possibility of an open class being added for the second and third events if there is enough interest. There will be a limit of 15 vehicles per class. Each event will consist of two days that will start on Sat. at 7:00 a.m. for tech. inspection. You must sign up two weeks before the event dates to insure a spot.
There will be a point chase series for all three events; you must participate in all events to be qualified for series champion (least amount of points for three events.) In the case that an open class is added, you must participate in two events to qualify for series champion. There will a 100 % payback per event, top three spots in each class, $100.00 entry for stock, $150.00 entry for modified stock. Series champion pay will be determined by sponsor monies.

This event is divided into three stages, with each stage being more difficult, and a special stage in case of a tie. There will be 3 judges per stage, and two marshals for the event. Judges will decide how points are given. Flags will be set up as gates and caution tape as boundaries throughout the three stages. This will be a timed event.
Vehicles in stock class must have current license plates, proof of insurance, street legal, have front and rear lockers, working winch, full roll cage on open top rigs, and all recommended safety equipment. We will use a point system, series points follow the driver, driver and spotter are not allowed to switch places, different spotters are allowed for each event, with each driver starting the stage with 0 points. Max points of 50 for each stage for class one, 40 points for class two. Max time limits of 16 minutes per stage for class one, and a max time limit of 12 minutes per stage for class two. If you reach max points or max time, you will be finished for that stage. Bypassing a stage or no show: A team that chooses to completely bypass an obstacle or complete stage, or does not show up for the 3 minute call, will receive 50 points, a team that places two tires of the vehicle through the start gate to time out will receive 40 points instead of 50 for no show.
If you break, you will have 45 minutes of cumulative Breakdown-Time per day of the competition. Once the 45 minutes is exceeded, that team is disqualified for the day and receives50 points for each remaining stage.
