I had a 2004 Explorer with a sirius unit in it that is active and I was hoping to somehow rig it up in my 2007 EB. Sorry, could not get pics to embed without them being enormous.

The plugs are not the same from the current sirius unit in the 07 and my unit from 04, so it's not a simple plug and play sadly. And it would appear they changed the pinout from this year. Assuming somehow all the wires needed are accounted for and this is even possible, I'm looking for some help as to how to wire it up...

The number of wires matches, they are just in different spots on the 12 pin plug. I think I've definitely matched up some, it's fairly obvious in both harnesses which are the audio wires, and I think I got the CANBUS stuff, but it's just not being recognized by my head unit.

I think this is what I've figured out for my 04 harness, but not 100% sure:

Pin, Color, Function
1, BLUE, MS CAN?
3, BLACK/GREEN, Ground?
5, PURPLE, Sat Rad Signal R+
6, GREY, Sat Rad Signal R-
7, TAN, MS CAN?
8, GREEN\BLACK, Batt+? or Ground?
10, PURPLE\BLUE, Batt+? or Ground?
11, GREY\RED, Sat Rad Signal L+
12, ORANGE, Sat Rad Signal L-

I found this pinout on another website, I think for 2007:
Pin, Color, Function
1, LB-PK, MS CAN+
3, BK-LG, Ground
5, VT, Sat Rad Signal L+
6, GY, Sat Rad Signal R+
7, TN, MS CAN -
9, LG-VT, Batt+
10, BK, Ground
11, LG-RD, Sat Rad Signal L-
12, OG-BK, Sat Rad Signal R-

Does anyone know what the pinout for this 2004 unit is so that I might match it up to the harness in the car already? Or if this is even feasible? Hoping someone has already done something like this before... Thanks...
