2005 Auto head lights

When I have the switch in auto the lights stay on.I have to use the switch as a manual switch.Not sure where to look.

The lights should stay on for the programmed time. If you have the message center you can scroll through there and see <auto lamps> with a time, from 1 sec up to a few min. I have mine set to 2 min. This gets you into your house with the headlights and also pisses the neighbors off with the head lights shining into their windows when I get home at midnight...
