2005 blend door problem. I need some heat.

Don't want to pay $1200. Must be a short cut. Just want to open and close door for the season. I've looked around and it seems like different years the "box" in in different place. Willing to cut the console plastic. Any help would be appriciated. Also, door open and I get heat or the other way around?

Mine is a 2005

From what I can gather, the heat box in a 2005 is NOT on the passenger side behind the glove box. It's on the driver side down where you right calf is while driving. I need a fix for this. I appreciate all the help, but nobody seems to have a quick fix for the newer models
