2005 last year for the T-birds

They said in the radio news this morning (gotta love the country stations where something like this is "news" ) that Ford announced that they will discontinue the T-bird towards the end of 2005 because of poor sales in 02. They only sold 4000 of them. I guess the real reason is that with the new Mustang coming, Ford does not want to have a pony and a bird playing in the same market segment.

I think they are just too much $. They are great looking cars.

Man when they first came out they would sell at 10k above sticker. All the people who were willing to pay for them have already bought one. Now all the dealerships are stuck with too many units on their lots. Some dealers even have 02's on the lots still.
