His 05 as with mine is drive by wire..... Don't think there is a servo... It's all in the pcm
^^^^^That space is set aside for my extra battery...
I have the occasional issue with the brake override sticking but its only a few times a month and if I tap the brakes I can then set it fine... I'm too cheap to mess with it especially when its minor like this...
Big Rondo, thanks for the pic, but I have nothing in that part of the engine compartment except the electrical connections.
I will look behind the glove box, that is probably a good bet for my problem. I had the dash removed to replace the evaporator core, and when I got the truck back the CC didn't work. I suspect that they failed to plug something in, but after looking under the drivers side for what see,s like hours, I found nothing disconnected.
A friends shop did the work for me...much cheaper than Ford....but then you get what you pay for. I have great AC now, but took me a week to clean all the greasy finger prints off the inside and outside of the vehicle, and they had it for over a week. He said to bring it back and they would look at it, but I can't do without my ride for another "who knows how long", so I thought I would see if it was something I could do.
Thanks much, and I will try looking at the connections right now....
Just curious....they would have had to remove the parking brake release to remove the dash. Is there any way this could have something to do with the CC "thinking" the brake is on? Like maybe they got it out of adjustment when they put it back on?
Doubtful... It could be the brake override sticking... A somewhat common issue...

I first started figuring it out when (cruzing @70) put it in N cut it off and restart it (still moving) and I could set it... Then I discovered a quick jab to the brake pedal would free it(much safer)
It's directly below the brake fluid... Only thing there with wires attached
I have checked the wiring on that, and all looks good. Tapped it several times just for good measure. I had no problems at all with it before, so I am thinking they either didn't get something plugged up right or something out of adjustment.
