2006 Explorer door keypad code

I know there are a bunch of strings on the keypad code for the door and the location of the RAP module.... but on my 06 it is not located on the "C" pilar on the passenger side.... does anyone have any idea where this could be located at?? I really don't want to pay the dealer for something I could get myself.... Thanks for any help you can give me!!!

Call the original selling dealer. They'll give it to you. On the new body style, there is no sticker.

thanks Andy, one more question. this might be stupid but how can I find out who the original dealer was? I have no paperwork what so ever about where it came from...

Your local Ford dealer can look it up by VIN.

Called the ford dealer that originally sold the car when it was new... they told me they had to "reset" the code and would not give me the one they had on file... looks like my only option is to pay ford an hours labor for less then 5 minutes work...

I got the same answer when I initially called the dealer that sold mine. I asked for a manager. I faxed him my license, insurance card (showing VIN), and title, to prove ownership. He then told it to me.
