I am having an issue with my explorer 2006. The radiator fan is not quicking and the car gets hot. I found that the clutch is stuck and I want to replace it. The new clutch on eBay costs about $190, but an alternative one is sold for around 60. It is a-premium assembly. I wanted to ask if someone has used it and how will it be installed. I tried to find an answer on the forum, YouTube, and eBay but found nothing. I attach the picture of the fan to this message.
thank you

Didn't realize the 2006 had gone to an electric fan.

My 2004 fan clutch has locked up so it's always on. Sounds loud but the vehicle runs, and that's what counts.
I already replaced it years ago at ~150k, and it has 332k+ now, so I've put it on a reduced maintenance schedule.

Windshield leaks? Silicone above rubber trim to cover the rusty holes. Sunroof leaks because of drainage problems? Close, disconnect switch, and silicone all around for a permanent end to water leaks. A/C compressor died? Pull fuse and carry on...sweating is okay to me anyway.

That being said, I'm replacing the RF and LR cv axle assemblies next week because that's functional and important to me.
