2006 Explorer Passenger Mirror Issues

Hello,

The Explorer I just bought has a passenger side mirror that will not work. The drivers side operates as normal?

Any clues?

Only the mirror or the puddle light too?

The puddle light works fine, just not the mirror motor.

Most likely the mirror motor is gone ( replace the mirror) but you can try and measure the power supply to the mirror adjustment mechanism.maybe door to chassis harness became damaged or so

Mine is painted red (Eddie Bauer). Do you if know if they sell them painted?

I dont think so..but you can replace the mirrors unpainted both from the XLT /limited if you dont mind of the color to be black matte
