2006 explorer tires

Im new here. My question is whats the biggest tire I can fit with out a lift kit.
I was thinking of getting 15x7 wheels.

I believe you can fit up to a 31x10.5x15 but I am not too familiar with newer Explorers.

My 06 EB has oem 18's (235 or 245/65-18)

I'm not sure if you have the 17 or the 18 inch wheel package but in either case, I am almost sure a 15 wont fit. I tried my oem 16" from my 99 and there's barely any clearance for the wheel.

I could be wrong or maybe it's just the EB package but my experience was with an OEM 255/70-16 (Dunlop Rover RVXT LT version which was 30.5")
Your stock tires in either 17 or 18" format is about 29.5"
