2006 Limited 4wd. Access to a press. Can you press the front wheel bearings or no dice sealed unit?

they are hub assemblies so one unit. you would have to remove the entire front knuckle to get the hub assembly out with a press. take a look at this video

also they can be a real pain if they are rusted.

It sounds like he is asking if after removing the hub, he can just swap bearings by using a press instead of buying a new loaded hub.

actually you may be right. I interpreted the question as if the bearing could be pressed out of the knuckle. If he is asking if the bearing can be pressed off the hub and changed, like the rear bearings, no they can't because they are an assembly.

Buy Timken or non chinese Motorcraft assemblies
