How best to identify and deal with worn out wheel bearings

Been following this thread as I need new rear bearings on my 2010 sport Trac. A shop was trying to install a new rear bearing and broke the knuckle in the process. They ended up replacing the broken knuckle with one from a wrecker so I ended up with a different used bearing. Interested in the loaded knuckles as it seems mechanics are having problems with this job. Question is Dorman vs Moog vs Auto Shack. Price range for the loaded rear knuckles is about $500 a sides to under $200. Big difference. Any experience with the Chinese ones?

I went with loaded knuckles as all the info I found stated replacing just the rear bearings was a nightmare because of corrosion issues. Dorman was all I could find last year so I've got those on both sides in the rear. I was hesitant because of Dorman's reputation but the parts were nicely finished and everything lined up fine. After a year and over 10k quiet miles I'm pleased thus far.

Don't think anything is made in North America any longer, so it a crap shoot. But I certainly trust any Moog or Timken part because of their reputation. Stay far, far away from Mevotech. Son had an 08 STA and used those for the front end and stab links. They only lasted a year or so.
Definitely get what you pay for.

Thanks. Good advice.
