I do not have step by step, but did mine using a common sense;
removed the axle nut with the car on the ground, removed the wheel, removed the caliper with pads, removed the rotor, removed the ebrake, remove the knuckle, ,and remove the old ring.
I heated up the new ring with a torch, and slowly hammered in onto the shaft. Had to repeat the heating part few times.
There must some type of tool to drive the ring evenly onto the CV.
