Hi. having a little problem navigating .. new to the system. However, my issue is with my daughter's Explorer. Really hoping someone can help .. she is a single mom , with a pre 1 year old , and I'm trying to get her car fixed .. and her 'ours' back. ha.
Background .. used car , she's had it approx 1 1/2 years. Near 100,000 miles on it . Very nice car .. nicer, if it would start.
She had a remote start put on when she purchased it . that recently failed , and I have been trying to get it back to the 'installer' for repairs .. in process , the vehicle developed this NO CRANK problem.
I would appreciate any help .. regarding further troubleshooting. I did find , in the owner's manual, that there is a STARTER relay "somewhere under the dash" ..
Is it logical to assume this could be the problem? Are there other things I can do to narrow down the root cause? Battery is good, lights, horn etc... all are functioning.
If someone can help ... where do I find the starter relay , and I hope someone can help me 'help' my daughter.
Thank you .. and it was nice to stumble across this forum.
any help will be / and is much appreciated.
Thank you
