Yesterday after driving for about 30 minutes I heard a ticking noise when i rolled down my window. It wasnt loud, but it wasnt faint either. This morning i started up my car and i couldnt hear the ticking, though after 10 minutes of driving it was very faint.

I took it into the dealer and he informed me it was the fuel injectors. Is there any truth to this?

For some history, last week i put fuel injector cleaner in the gas along with isopropal heat.

Thanks!

Injectors can certainly be noisy. To confirm, use a stethoscope and listen to the injectors. If you don't have one, use a long screw driver and touch one end to the injector and the other to your ear.

it could be an injector, it could be a valve... i just recently had a problem with ticking and loss of oil pressure when i stepped on the gas. i got an oil change about 800 miles before my scheduled mileage and it seems to have fixed both problems. Sometimes the simplest **** can fix a problem.

Another way to tell, imho, if its valves or the injectors, it would sound like:
Injectors:
click-click-click-click etc. much faster

one Valve is more like:
click--------------click---------------click
hard to tell without listening to it

Hmmm...I'm not so sure about that with a SFI vehicle. Valve will open once every two revolutions of the crank. The injector should fire once around the opening of the intake valve...which is once every two revolutions of the crank.

i'll try and explain, if its the common injector noise, i'm assuming it is, then you would hear all of the injectors, its a much faster tick.
If its bad Valves, i don't think all of the valves are bad but just one and it would be a slower tick or two revlolutions of the crank.

If it only one injector or one valve is bad, yes Cobraguy is correct, from what the OP said it sounded like a constant tick . . .so i'm guessing injectors

Really could use a sound clip. . . .
