I just discovered the seal on the passenger side is leaking. The truck only has 36,450 miles on it. I don`t want to replace the whole unit. Can the seal just be replaced ??????:D

seal kits are available from rockauto for around $14 (plus shipping).

Dang! you only have 36k miles on that 07. Must of been a Sunday driver.

Yes, it is just a Sunday driver ! I only use it to drive 275 miles to Denver every couple of months. I couldnt find the seal kit on Rockauto. What I did was buy a bottle of Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak and for now it seems to be working. I keep checking the fluid level after driving it and it is staying full.
I have two other issues with the truck. It is hard to get out of park and the transmission bumps when I come to a stop. I just found out on this website the dealer can tweak the computer to fix that. Of course it`s out of warranty. My truck is a 4.6 V8 Limited, I love the truck and plan on keeping it.

Mine's an '08 Limited and I just had the transmission serviced and re-flashed. It took care of that "bump" thing a lot of us had. I had 59k on mine and it was covered....are you sure yours isn't covered. I thought the powertrain was covered for 60k.
