2008 explorer abs light on dash

after starting the car the rsc and the abs on dash comes on. the rsc will go off and the abs will stay on. any one having this problem. car has 72,000 miles on it. no rough treatment.

not yet but more than likely you have a bad wheel speed sensor, or some sensor that has failed only way to know is to have someone pull the codes.

Bad abs/ecu

Just went through this with my '08. ABS light and alarm randomly goes off. Checked/cleaned all fuses and wheel sensors and tone rings and still had same issue. Ended up going to dealer to get the $120 Ford Integrated Diagnostic System scan and it showed bad a ECU on the ABS pump. Of course this is sold as an entire $1100 unit. $2300 for them to repair. You can find ebay parts for around $200-$400. I sent mine to Module Master and had it rebuilt for $250. Was out about 10 days with shipping to Idaho.
