2008 ford explorer xlt v8 transmission problem

hey guys, new to this website but liking it so far. just bought a 2008 ford explorer xlt a few months back and i have to say, best purchase ever. im recently having a problem with the transmission problem. it shifts fine but when i come to a stop, it feels like it is punching back in to first gear. ive had people tell me it could be the "solenoid" that could be going out. has anyone ever experience this problem? any feed back would be great!

I believe there is a PCM update/reflash that is supposed to fix this issue (I don't know the tsb) but searching on here you'll see it's common.
