4.0 sohc problems

Hello. Ive recently had a p0201 pop up when i went out to start up the car the other morning. And it had a intermittent missifire that followed. I drove to my shop to inspect and on way to the shop it got worse and started smoking real bad . running real rich . whole inside smells like gas. Tested ohms on # 1 injector. And its tests to spec. Tested pigtail for pwr and grd and that test good also. Has new plugs,wires,coil pack . unplugged the main connector at the pcm and tested the harness to the suspected injector and no issue in the harness. Checked all vac lines and all is ok at this time . intake gaskets are good shape no air leak. Kinda wondering if maybe the pcm might be going out? Ive looked around and havet found any one haveing this exact issue yet so thats lil bit of bummer. Thanks .
