i just picked up a 2010 explorer with 55,000 miles and even before i purchased it i noticed some wind noise from the 2 front doors, i don't know it its the window trim or the door trim causing this but i would like to try to eliminate it, any insight you folks can give me would be greatly appreciated?

I was going to ask the same question. I just picked up a 2010 Limited and have noise from my driver's side window when It's all the way up. If it touch the down button just a bit the noise goes away. Thinking bad weatherstrip? Sorry to hijack the thread but would love to know if anyone else had the same problem and what the remedy might be.

Our 2010 Mountaineer makes similar wind noises. Started right after we bought it new. I have driven myself crazy with warranty claims that didn't fix anything. Then I replaced all the weatherstripping in the driver's door myself along with the large piece on the body that cracked near the latch from sliding in and out. I was sure that was it but it wasnt. Nothing seems to stop this noise except holding the window up switch. I believe this pushes the glass out at the bottom against the felt but nothing else I do makes it go away. Perhaps over time the window tracks flex away allowing this noise?
