2010 Explorer rear seat, long bench (only has rear not third) latch is broken, stuck in the upright position. Not sure where the problem is since it is a pain to take out the seat and get a clear look. I see the end of the cable on the far side of the from the latch release handle and can see something that is supposed to move with the cable, but the cable does not move far enough. I tried to move that piece with a screw driver, but the seat still did not release. Some utube videos seem to indicate the plastic lever stripped or something else on the lever side of the seat. I'd be happy just to get the seat in the down position and keep it down, so if anyone knows how to release it with out taking the whole thing apart, I'd appreciate it. Philip
