2010 ST Trip Meter Resetting Itself???

I noticed that my Trip Meter A and B on my 2010 ST are resetting without me pushing the reset button. I read the owners manual but it only tells you how to reset it to zero by holding down the reset button.

What causes this to reset on it's own? Or, am I not doing something correct?

I think she wraps at 1000k, or miles, back to 0. If it reseting before that it must be loosing power somewhere.

On a side note, I wonder if anyone has put just under 1000 miles and switched to metric, to see if it would wrap back to 0. I wonder if it would glitch or keep its original value when you switched back to imperial?

No, it is not making it to 1,000. It seems to just re-set at will. The first time it hadn't even made it to 100 miles.

Cant help ya with that one then. Sounds like a computer glitch to me. Someone else may be able to help ya.
