I'll be attending the LA auto show some time in the next week. I'll get some detailed shots of the new Explorer

Here are some teasers from the media.;)

looks like a toyota engineer trying to steal ford's ideas and then pass them off as their own or some newly revised piece of safety technology (toyota you suck eat detroit nuts)

Went to the auto show yesterday and looked at the new explorer. It's nice, not a surprise, but it doesn't feel like an SUV to me, especially not one with an Explorer badge on it. Ford was pretty crowded and i overheard a few people saying things about it like "it's just an Edge on steroids." But I also heard a group of guys saying "they did good!" So there are mixed opinions on it.

And for anyone that goes, you can sign up with their representatives for a test drive at a dealer, and they'll pay you $50. I couldn't resist signing up to drive the Raptor instead though. And i'm not sure but i think people could test drive it at the show too.

Attended the LA Auto Show and got some good "GUTS" pictures of the New 2011 Explorer, We have all seen the pretty outside pics, but whats in look like underneath?

My opinion: For a Mom mobile/ Mall Crawler it's great... Offroad? Time will tell, however it does look to have more clearance underneath then it's predecessor.

I found it very comfortable, and compared to previous generations you sit very tall in it like sitting at your dinning room table vs. sitting on the couch.

Understand too, that I have all 4 gens at my disposal to compare too:D
1st gen('91): My Fathers -aka Zukman
2nd gen('99): Mine - JP Mobile
3rd gen('03):Father-in-Laws
4th gen('06): Wifes;)

Anyway on to the pics.....
