2011 Explorer rust on hood

I bought new a 2011 Explorer in Jan of 2011. This week I noticed a few spots of rust/paint bubbling at the leading edge of the hood. Will try to take some photos and post later. BTW it's Tuxedo Black in color. It has 29K miles on it. Anyone else have any rust issues this soon?

Welcome to the site. If you bought the truck new you may want to take it back to the dealer to see if it's covered under warranty.

It has an aluminum hood, so it isn't rusting. Most likely, it is poor prep resulting in corrosion under the paint now bubbling up. You're well under the mileage coverage for paint issues, so best to just take it in.
