(Apologies up front if this info is available...I've done a ton of reading/searching and have not found specific answers)...I just picked up an '11 XLT. The MFT system seems to be generally OK so far. I'm hoping that the original owner worked out any bugs that might have been present in this one.
The only hitches are the clock and compass. The clock will not accept a manual reset. Go through the Settings...adjust the time...touch the Home button and it reverts back to what was previously there. Questions: Should the car's satellite sensors set the clock? Am I missing an "Accept" or "Done" function that is required to set the time? (It reverts to 12:00 with a Master Reset so I did one at noon, but I'd like to have it correct)
The compass is non-functional, showing a constant N in the dash and on the MFT screen. Is this related to the clock? Is there an easy fix available?
Thanks.
