2012MY Orders

We ordered a MY2012 yesterday after much searching and debate on what vechile to buy. I think we test drove just about everything on the market from smaller cars to crew cab truck before settling on the Explorer. Now the wait begins... I was almost tempted to take the 2011 sitting on the lot just so I could have it now but instead we ordered exactly what we wanted for the same price. Glad to have found this forum as I have learned a lot about the Explorer (which helped in our decision making)

Since production is underway, how long is the wait generally from order to delivery now ?

Lee man I order our 2012 ltd on 7/22, received vin I think 7/26, build date 8/15, hopefully to the dealer by months end. So 5 weeks average. Crossing my fingers.
